Toasted sandwich and drink set

About this place
At Ekupuri, the choice of filling is part of the appeal of its toasted sandwiches. Diners have also praised the crisp bread crusts: one person who tried the gapao sandwich liked its soft, runny egg and bread toasted all the way to the edges. Savoury options include tuna melt, ham and cheese, chicken with salt and cheese, and grilled vegetable pizza. For a more substantial meal, there is also a Big Melt, with 3 times the bread and 1.5 times the filling of the tuna melt.
Sweet toasted sandwiches include caramel banana, rum raisin and strawberry jam with sweet red bean paste; some are listed in half portions. If you can’t decide between savoury and sweet, ordering a combination of half portions could be a good option. One diner chose the ham and cheese sandwich and enjoyed using the bread crust served alongside to scoop up the cheese.
The drinks menu includes coffee, café au lait and tea, as well as dried-fruit tea and coffee cola. One diner paired a toasted sandwich with the coffee-flavoured cola, a choice for anyone looking to try something a little different from the usual coffee. For dessert, there is limited-quantity coffee pudding and iced cheesecake.
The café is on the 3 floor of the Misuzu Building in Shimokitazawa. It offers both dine-in and takeaway.
